Human serum amyloid A (SAA) assay kit (fluorescence quantitative immunochromatography)
【Intended use】
This kit is used to quantitatively detect the content of serum amyloid A (SAA) in human serum in vitro.
SAA is an acute phase protein, which belongs to a heterogeneous protein in the apolipoprotein family. As an acute phase response protein, SAA and C-reactive protein can be used to: understand the degree of acute phase response; Assist in identifying bacterial and other viral infections except adenovirus, and evalsuate the efficacy of antibiotics and the indication of drug withdrawal; Early detection of rejection after organ transplantation. Due to the large increase and short half-life of SAA in the above-mentioned acute phase reaction, some studies believe that SAA is more sensitive than C-reactive protein. However, the increase of SAA in patients with lupus erythematosus and ulcerative colitis was not significant. The concentration of SAA in rheumatoid arthritis, tuberculosis or leprosy increased slowly, which might be related to the synthesis of AA- starch fiber, which caused secondary amyloidosis in tissues or organs.
